Our charge includes funeral counseling, necessary arrangements, recording vital statistics, securing the disposition permit, preparation of the death certificate, and coordination of service plans with parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burial and forwarding or receiving of the deceased.

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Other items that may apply and could be added to the contract are a combination shipping container ($275) or air tray ($225). Additional storage fee will be added outside of service area. This charge applies to shipment within the continental U.S. only. Other Merchandise, and Cash Advances are not included.

This charge includes basic services of funeral director and staff when receiving remains, transportation to or from local airport or other place of shipment within a 30-mile radius, transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory and obtaining necessary authorizations. This charge does not include visitation or ceremonies.

Cremation

This charge includes the basic services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to our
funeral home, shelter and hold refrigeration, service utility vehicle and transfer of remain to
crematory. If you want to arrange a Direct Cremation, you can use an alternative container.
Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or
composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we use are cardboard.

Alkaline Hydrolysis or Aquamation Cremation…………………..……………………………………………….$3,490

The scientific name for this process is Alkaline Hydrolysis. We use a combination of gentle water
flow, temperature, and alkalinity to accelerate the breakdown of organic materials. A water-based
alternative to flame cremation. No burning of fossil fuels, no direct emissions of harmful
greenhouse gases or mercury. Alkaline Hydrolysis cremations are performed in California.
