Why Plan Ahead?

Help take the burden off your loved ones by making your end-of-life
decisions in advance, in a calm and thoughtful atmosphere.

The reality is that no one with whom we ever visit, speak with, and assist in planning their funeral before death occurs has ever really wanted to have this conversation. No one really wants to die... and yet we all are aware that some day, at some time in the future, we will all draw our last breaths and pass from this life into the eternal beyond.

So why is it so important to plan ahead? Why should you be concerned with planning your funeral long before you expect to die? Statistically, nearly 12 years will pass before the individual who pre-plans his or her funeral will ever have a family contact the funeral home to inform them of a death. The simple facts remain, though, when you plan your funeral in advance you're guaranteeing for yourself the type of funeral service and final disposition you wish for yourself. Do you prefer a traditional funeral with casket, flowers, memorial service and all that goes with the service? Are you very concerned about your family not spending too much money at your passing and wish to only be cremated?

If you plan ahead, what you plan is what you'll be able to assure for yourself and your family. When you plan ahead, you become the person responsible to make those difficult decisions. And most importantly, you will provide the greatest peace of mind for your loved ones. They will be able to conclude your services knowing they've done the right thing for you, AND they've done what you wanted.

Pre-planning is important. You plan ahead for virtually everything in your life; why wouldn't you plan ahead for that which you know is inevitable?
