Timothy Robert Wilson

Timothy Robert Wilson, 74, of Hemet, California, passed away May 15, 2026. Born August 13, 1951, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Tim came to California as a boy and made Hemet his home during his adult life. 

A man of vast curiosity and a sense of adventure who exploded the world through science ( and a bit a daredevilry through motorcycles, skydiving, and travel ), he expanded the path set by his father before him to become a Civil Engineer and Architect- a profession he was deeply proud of and considered a core part of his identity. From childhood, when he would take things apart just to understand them and put them back together, to adulthood, when he built his own telescope, computers, and ultralight aircraft, Tim was always most himself when he was figuring out how the world worked and then creating something with that knowledge.

A true gentleman with a kind heart and a memorably clever wit, Tim was quietly devoted to the people he loved. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Robin Wilson; his daughters, Laura Masters and Ashley Thompson; and grandchildren Kylie & Liam Thompson and Joseph Kemp. He was preceded in death by the parents Claude Glen Wilson and Mary Ann Wilson; and sister Claudia Burr.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 27th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Services, 1111 State St, Hemet, CA 92543.
